SJPE splicing press with Grinding
PE splicing press with Grinding system
The SJPE Grinding joint system for EPDM and PE profiles developed by Tecnofive integrates a trimming unit consisting of rotating diamond blades in order to improve the quality and the orthogonality of the surfaces that will be automatically welded with a sheet in polyethylene from the same machine. This way, seals with superior sealing and quality are produced. The closing and opening of the moulds is fully automatic to speed up the loading / unloading operations, and they are supported by a single structure in order to ensure perfect mechanical alignment.
The vertical movement of the blade unit and the horizontal movement of the mould unit is carried out by means of servomotors, while blade replacement and cleaning operations are facilitated by special movements that can be selected by the operator when required.
Advantages
- Greater sealing quality
- Easier piece loading and unloading
- High safety
UNIVERSAL SPLICING PRESS WITH GRINDING
Univeral splicing press with Grinding system
The Universal Grinding joint system for rubber profiles, has been designed to allow the customers to joint the profiles with or without metal carrier, using PE foil or EPDM foil.
This innovative system combine "two machines in one", the operator to change process has just to turn a switch and eventually change the dedicated mould.

- High safety
- High flexibilty, due to the possibility to change sealing process from PE to EPDM and from EPDM to PE
SJPE MAXI
Jointing system with PE film
The SJPE MAXI multipurpose jointing system is the latest technology for the production of butt and corner joints in profiles made of (reinforced or nonreinforced) rubber, thermoplastic materials and PVC.
The SJPE MAXI system uses a special film or a sheet in POLYETHYLENE (PE) as material to be interposed automatically between the surfaces to be jointed.
In addition to the high tensile strength of the jointed zone, the distinctive trait of this type of joint is quick production time.
The SJPE MAXI system uses special infrared radiation lamps for a quick heating of the zone to be jointed and the PE film.
When the surfaces have reached the required temperature and the PE is in plastic state, the system joints the two ends of the profile and keeps it in the appropriate position until the temperatures decrease.
This is a versatile jointing system, which can also be used for the butt jointing of profiles made of thermoplastic materials and to obviate the problem of blade joints, since the bonding of the material in the sealing zones is achieved through radiation, not by contact.
Types of joint
PE joints on gaskets:
Rubber/sponge
Reinforced rubber/sponge
Hollow extruded items, e.g., pipes
With bi-adhesive
Flocked
Thermoplastic materials/PVC
Performance
25 sec.
Sealing cycle for a minimum of 2 pieces
Advantages
Fast cycle
Great strength
Excellent aesthetic quality of the joint
Moulds with a minimum of 2 cavities
Sealing is possible also on gaskets with bi-adhesive or gaskets in flocked material, since the moulds are used in cold processes
GITEC MAXI
Hot jointing system with EPDM film
The system is used to obtain sturdy joints by inserting a sheet of non-vulcanised rubber ca 0.5 mm thick between two pre-heated moulds constructed according to the geometry of the profile to be sealed.
For improved quality, the moulds are produced for each individual profile configuration; in this manner, the joint is perfect from both the aesthetic and the mechanical viewpoint.
Types of joint
The profiles to be sealed can be straight or angular and can be made of different materials:
All rubber
Rubber/sponge
Reinforced rubber/sponge
Hollow extruded items such as pipes
Silicone type materials
Performance
90 /100 sec. Sealing cycle
Advantages
Compared to traditional injection joints:
Faster cycle
Good sealing
Good aesthetic quality
Lower processing cost
NEW GITEC
NEW GITEC
The joint system of rubber profiles called GITEC 2000, after 13 years of success will leave the room for the new GITEC 2013, which, while maintaining the ergonomic features and capabilities that have made the success will be built with the most advanced technologies.
Some electronic parts used in Gitec 2000 will come out shortly by the market and so it was necessary to review the entire circuit of the control and safety. The new machine will use a Siemens PLC S7-1200 can communicate over TCP / IP.
The display of the temperatures of heating and setting all the necessary parameters will be entrusted to a panel ASEM HMI25 color touch.
We can intervene on the PLC software, the touch screen and the GEFRAN GFX4.
The machine if equipped with a Wireless Router any, will be accessible from equipment tablets and smartphones.
GITEC MINI
Gitec Mini
Similar to the Gitec jointing system. The Gitec Mini is a high sealing power welding system, in which a non vulcanised rubber sheet, about 0.5 mm thick, is inserted between two heated plates fashioned according to the geometric configuration of the gasket profile to be jointed.
The Gitec Mini has been designed for use on small diameter (minimum 80 mm) rings.
Compared to a traditional Gitec system, the Gitec Mini is entirely manually operated and hence is ideally suited for small and diversified production runs.
For improved quality results, the moulds are constructed as a function of individual profile geometry. In this manner, the joint is perfect both from the aesthetic and from the mechanical viewpoints.
Gitec 2T
Jointing machine with EPDM film
The system is used to obtain sturdy joints by inserting a sheet of non-vulcanised rubber ca 0.5 mm thick between two pre-heated moulds constructed according to the geometry of the gasket profile to be sealed.
The individual, totally independent jointing machine can be inserted in a frame configured for up to 4 GITEC 2000 modules as a function of production needs.
For improved quality, the moulds are produced for each individual profile configuration; in this manner, the joint is perfect from both the aesthetic and the mechanical viewpoint.
